What is ADHD?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders to be found among children. Not all children exhibit hyperactivity/impulsivity in which case their dominant feature is attention deficit.
The worldwide prevalence rate of ADHD in children is 7.2% (Thomas et al., 2015) while the current estimate among Hong Kong children is 6.4% (Liu et al., 2018).
