Dr. Maya Ho graduated from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa, USA and received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology. She worked at both State and non-profit children and family centers in Hawai`i, providing assessment and treatment services for young children, children, adolescents and families. Besides providing comprehensive assessment, Dr. Ho provided therapy and training to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), emotional and social difficulties as well as other psychological problems. She also assisted parents and supported families in providing training and guidance for their children and teens at home.

After returning to Hong Kong, Dr. Maya worked in the Clinical Psychological Services Department of the Hospital Authority Head Office from 2012 to 2018, providing psychological and emotional assessment, individual and group treatment, consultation and psychological education to the staff of the Hospital Authority. While at the Hospital Authority, Dr. Ho specialized in treating various emotional disorders and symptoms caused by stress, including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, pain control and disorders caused by the dysregulated immune system.
